Return to the Alma

Join us aboard the sixty-foot long 1891 scow Alma for a return tour of the southern waterfront. Historians Stephen Canright and Richard Everett from the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park will be aboard to discuss San Francisco's maritime past as the Alma sails past the wooden shipyards near Hunters Point where she was built and the Union Shipyards, the first steel shipyard in the Pacific basin.

The cost of the cruise is $60 per person. Please call 415-537-1105 extension 100 or send an email to rsvp@sfhistory.org. Please be sure to specify which tour you would like to attend.

Parking: Parking will be extremely difficult, since there is a baseball game at nearby AT&T Park at 1 PM. Public transportation is advised.

Castello di Amorosa Tour and Wine Tasting

Sunday, September 19

Join us for a tour and wine tasting at the magnificent Castello di Amorosa in the Napa Valley, the authentic Tuscan castle built by Dario Sattui. The bus will leave from the main parking lot in the Presidio.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

For Special Events

For events requiring advance payment, only cancellations received at least five (5) business days prior to the event receive a full refund. Cancellations received with less than five (5) business days notice may be credited towards future SFMHS events (within six months).

NO refunds are made for no-shows or early departures.
