Several months ago, the San Francisco Historical Society office moved into the historic Mechanics’ Institute at 57 Post Street. We look forward to collaborating with the Mechanics’ on projects in the future.

Our first event, for current SFHS members and their guests, will be a special gathering that includes tours of the beautiful building, discussion of the Mechanics’ programs, and a reception. The event is free, but you must rsvp: (415) 537-1105, ext. 0 or at rsvp@sfhistory.org.
