Volunteers assist with a wide variety of tasks and might have to be on their feet for several hours. Training will generally take place on the job or immediately before the event.
Hours will vary. Typically it will take place weekday evenings or weekend days or evenings. Locations will vary. Minimum commitment is one event. Repeat volunteers are encouraged and welcomed.
This job is perfect for volunteers with busy schedules who want to contribute to SFHS on weekday evenings or weekends.
Volunteer at the SFHS Museum
Our museum at 608 Commercial Street is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. When we open again, we’ll need volunteers to greet visitors and show them around the museum and its exhibits. If you love historic sites and like meeting people, this volunteer opportunity may be for you.
